ABOUT JONAS HELLER
Jonas Heller is a seasoned digital marketing professor with over 10 years of academic experience in emerging technologies.
Jonas Heller studied BSc International Business at Maastricht University (2012). He holds an MSc degree (2015) in International Business (Maastricht University) and a PhD degree (2019) in Marketing (University of New South Wales). After defending his PhD thesis, which was awarded the Dean's Award for Outstanding PhD Theses, he worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Brightlands Institute for Smart Society (BISS).

Since 2020, Jonas Heller holds an Assistant Professor position at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics. He is driving research projects on emerging technologies (e.g. AI, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Brain-Computer-Interfaces), coordinating courses in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, and supervises PhD candidates on the topics of emerging technologies.
Further, Jonas Heller is co-founder and director of the DEXLab and engages in executive education, workshops, and consulting projects on novel technologies and their impact on businesses, customers, and employees. His expertise lies in immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, as well as research in AI and BCIs.
With a strong industry background at Zalando and Jimdo, Jonas Heller has an outstanding track record of publications and funding acquisition. With a passion for educating and consulting, Jonas Heller aims to empower organizations with cutting-edge digital marketing strategies.
